About Michael

I am a Massachusetts based photographer that specializes in wedding and portrait photography. I have traveled throughout New England to help families create precious and beautiful memories to last a lifetime. I take pride in shooting anything and everything. Newborns to Senior Potraits, Maternity Sessions to Engagement Sessions, Weddings to Retirements. I have recently teamed up with several builders and real estate agents to capture images of properties for both business websites and assisting real estate agents show their properties in a professional manner.

Being a photographer is something I have always dreamed of doing from the moment my parents gave me my first camera 15 years ago. Who knows how many rolls of 35mm film I went through learning to take pictures, thank God for digital! During high school, I worked at a local camera store, not so much for the money, but more as a learning experience. I took pictures for my high school newspaper and did a shadow program with a Lowell Sun photographer my senior year. I went on to college and graduated from the University of Massachusetts. During my college career, my love for photography never waivered. I studied photography at Montserrat College of Art in Beverly Massachusetts where I was able to close in on the finer points of the art form.

I am happily married to my high school sweet heart and we have two sons. Being a photographer and having children is an extremely wonderful thing. I have to say that I have taken over 10,000 pictures of them throughout their first years. It’s a good thing they like the camera.

I am the youngest of three children. Myself and my two brothers are full time firefighters for the town of Chelmsford MA. My Father is a retired Lowell, Ma firefighter and I also have three cousins who are firefighters. Don’t think that because I work full-time as a firefighter, that takes away from being a photographer. I would say that I have two full time jobs, firefighting and photography. My love for both jobs makes me one of the luckiest people I know.

I once took a personality test that said I viewed the world differently than 94% of people. I not only agree with that, but try to use that to my advantage taking pictures. I try to use my camera to create a documented history in a classic but artistic fashion. I try to see things for what they are and show them in a way you have never thought to look. I look forward to seeing you through my lens.
